My son started at Ranney this fall and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. We feel so fortunate that our son has teachers who challenge him, recognize his potential, and help him to be the best version of himself every day. While the academics are incredibly strong, administrators/staff focus on the social-emotional learning as well. Kindness, empathy, and respect are woven into the fabric of the Ranney culture and are actively modeled by administrators and staff.
Perhaps the most important gift that Ranney has given our son is happiness. He wakes up every morning excited to go to school. He comes home and excitedly talks about his day, his learnings, and his peers. It is the greatest feeling to know that your child not only feels connected to his school community, but is also valued for who he is within that community.
We are so thankful that we made the decision to send our son to Ranney and are thrilled that our youngest son will be attending next year as well!

Ranney is a fantastic place to go to school. The Ranney community is really one big family. The Ranney motto of "every child is known and valued" becomes abundantly clear the moment you step foot on campus. The education is holistic and features science, technology, engineering, arts (musical and physical), math, and humanities. College counseling is top-notch. The school also does a great job of developing students' leadership capabilities. Ranney celebrates community service which invokes a sense of pride around doing good deeds, creating organizations to serve the local community, and donating time. I am really lucky to say I am an alumni of such a terrific school.
My children have been students at Ranney School for 10 years now (since the 3's program)! We can't say enough great things about the community, faculty, diversity, and endless opportunities. My children have the opportunity to try new things (and feel comfortable trying out a variety of new things) offered at Ranney - from sports to the chorus to robotics. While there are many options for schools, I don't think you can beat the peace of mind parents feel knowing their children are receiving not only the best education and care, but the exposure to new things and extracurricular activities to make them well-rounded individuals.
