Stuyvesant has always been known as the "pinnacle" of all high schools in NYC, and with legitimate reason. The students here are all diligent; everyone strives to be the best. However, everyone still manages to be friendly with each other, maintaining an amiable atmosphere. There is a wide variety of classes to take, ranging from Hospital Internship to Organic Chemistry to Wall Street to Multivariate Calculus to Video Production! There also is a wide spectrum of AP's to take (with over 30 offered). The environment surrounding Stuy is one of the safest neighborhoods in NYC. There are plenty of places to eat out for lunch: McDonalds, Whole Foods, and Ferry's (deli).

However, the workload can be extremely brutal. There are some nights where you would have HW for each class + 3 tests the next day to study for + SAT's/ACT's + AP exams to study for. Escalators (yes, we have them) are occasionally (usually always) broken. Also, school food could be better (but that's what we get for being a public school). Despite the downsides, I wouldn't trade this school for anything else!

Staten Island Technical Highschool is hands down a great highschool. It offers many useful and interesting classes such as Robotics, TV & Movie Production, Computer Aided Design (3D), and more. Most, if not all, students love it and wouldn't trade Staten Island Tech for any other school.

Although the school work is tough, one has to remind themselves that the hard work will eventually pay off. Everyone is on the same boat and will experience the same types of hardships. Everybody is friendly enough to help out another student. In addition, the school spirit is very strong and makes others feel as if THHS was their second home.

This school is definitely qualified to be one of the best (if not the top) school in the Country. BHS offer many sports, Ap classes, and more clubs than one can count. We have a amazing student organization, and students can express their opinions to the teachers. Here, students can be part of the best debate team in the country, part of an amazing music and art program, and participate in school plays. Additionally, the Bronx High School of Science has a state of the art library, engineering room, and good computers. Students can partake in Engineering classes, computer science classes, science research programs, and music composition classes. Lastly, I'd like to say that I am disappointed in Bronx Science's placement under other NYC schools. Others, like Stuyvesant, fail to have a welcoming student community, where friends are most likely fake, and people are only there for themselves, even at the expense of others. Disclaimer: I know this due to my many friends at Stuyvesant, who have commented on the horrible teachers there and the vulgar student body. This is in part why I chose to go to BHS, and it has been the best decision of my life.

My experience with school was amazing. I loved every moment of my high-school life style. I made so many friends and a myraid of memories. High school shaped me the person who I am today, which is a better and prone to make less mistakes then I did during junior high.

I loved every single thing about Syosset High School! I had so many great experiences and made friends that I can gladly say that will be friends with for the rest of my life! I was on the football team all 4 years and it was a great way to stay fit and make large amounts of friends. The academics were enhanced but easy to get a hold of; my AP courses were challenging but I always love a good challenge. Overall, I loved my high school, and I bet you would too!

Having been exposed to a college setting I have met tons of people who don't put much value in a good education. I honestly hardly see that in Edgemont. There is a work ethic that seems to be present in a vast majority of the students. this makes the learning experience very easy and enjoyable. While attending this school I never really felt too amazing about the experience but looking back it was a great time. The faculty and students are great people, the school itself looks amazing and has great facilities, and the quality of learning was amazing.

I have had an amazing HS experience. I believe, if taken advantage of, their are so many opportunities for the students here at Fox Lane and I find it a very inviting and comfortable environment for a high school. Education and high school in general is what you make of it and I am happy with how my four years have turned out.

This school is full of great opportunities for those who take advantage of their time in school. The school is full of sources that can help you grow as an excellent student due to their highly trained teachers and faculty that do their best to help you succeed. The best experiences I've had in this school include being able to attend to a vocational school as well as regular high school at the same time. Here I experienced being in the field I plan on studying and applying my skills in jobs that have helped me gain a lot of experience in my field of choice.

This school gave me some of the defining moments of my life. The coziness of it allowed for me to make great friends that I'm sure will accompany me throughout the rest of my life, and the knowledge to make a successful path through it. I would definitely return here if I had to go through the high school experience all over again.

I love this school. The teachers always give out extra help and it's they let the students decide if they want the help they need for the their classes. Overall, the school is great and has many AP classes and most of the students go to very good colleges after graduation.

George W. Hewlett High School truly cares for its students. The highlights of my best experiences in George W. Hewlett High School was participating in many club activities. Because of Key Club, Art Club, Yearbook Club, Environmental Club, and Prom Committee, I appeared on Hewlett's local newspaper for my outstanding work. I was also offered as a position as Editor and Chief of Yearbook, President of Key Club, Treasurer of Art Club, and President of Prom Committee. Finally, I absolutely adore and continue to love the Senior Year Project. This gives an opportunity for students to find employment in the facility (of their desired major) and potentially work there. Teachers in this school try their hardest to give stepping stones to their students, ensuring employment and getting into the college of their choices. As for me, I currently work in John F. Kennedy Airport, handling international exports and got into my top choice school (Sacred Heart University).

I moved from the Bronx to Hastings on Hudson when I was 11 and it was the best experience I've ever had. The school's staff is very much involved in trying to help students reach their full potential academically, athletically, and artistically
