    St. Andrew's School

    • Middletown, DE
    • 55 reviews
High School Junior:I have found that St. Andrew's isn't perfect-no school is. But it tries to be the best it can with rigorous academics and the tight family like bond we try to incorporate everyday. The goal to be open minded, caring, and intellectual human beings who care about what is going on around them is what makes our school unique. I have been able to improve in subjects and projects that I have always had trouble with just by the positive and supporting attitudes I have received not only from my teachers, but especially from my peers. We understand that the reason we attend St. Andrew's is because we are like minded individuals who desire success and we achieve our success through the support and challenge of being around each other. I would choose St. Andrew's all over again because I could not imagine myself anywhere else.

    • 91 reviews
Senior:I have had one of the most amazing high school experiences because of Archmere Academy. I feel completely prepared for college, and the students and teachers have created an incredible environment for individuals to thrive both academically and socially. As a student who struggled with school work and socially, I have thrived being at this academic institution. No other school in the area prepares a student for college like Archmere Academy does.

    Caravel Academy

    • Bear, DE
    • 73 reviews
Senior:Overall, my experience at Caravel was very academically valuable. Attending this school since kindergarten and now being a senior in high school, I must confess that I am very well prepared for college; hence the fact that I have 12 credits prior to graduation. On the flip-side, social life here is only beneficial when you're apart of a certain clique. It is quite surprising that after 13 years of attending this school, I do not anticipate staying in contact with any of my peers for longer than a year after graduation. Other than that, being a student at Caravel for so long has been a splendid experience considering all of the knowledge that I have gained.

    Tall Oaks Classical School

    • New Castle, DE
    • 31 reviews
Alum:I went to Tall Oaks from first grade to twelfth grade and graduated in May of 2016. I enjoyed every moment of my challenging, Christ-centered education. My relationships with my teachers influenced my work ethic and my motivation to do well. I love Tall Oaks, because it challenged my thinking, encouraged me to be strong in my faith and allowed me to grow into the person I am today. I am excited for the future of Tall Oaks, and I hope to see it grow, so that so many other families may also benefit from its great work.

    Ursuline Academy

    • Wilmington, DE
    • 79 reviews
Niche User:Social, I think the students could use a little help, especially with branching out and trying to connect with other students a little more. Academically, best education a high schooler can receive, and I feel very prepared for college. One complaint I do have is that I wish the school would emphasize more than just sports, especially basketball. One may forget about the other extracurricular activities the school has to offer due to the strong focus on sports. But overall, the school is a wonderful place to send your daughter.

    St. Mark's High School

    • Wilmington, DE
    • 107 reviews
Niche User:Best kept secret in Delaware! Great environment for high school students. Teachers are great Christian role models and challenge kids to be responsible and work to the best of their abilities. My other two sons attended St. Marks and were well prepared for college and beyond. There are plenty of ways to get involved from sports, the arts and clubs. Students are very inclusive. Never heard of any bullying. Great school!

    Wilmington Christian School

    • Hockessin, DE
    • 51 reviews
Parent:We have an elementary student at WCS and absolutely love the school! The staff is great, they are so loving and caring, they give each child the attention the need. The school focuses on being good, Christian people while challenging them academically. We feel as though it truly is the best of both worlds. We are so grateful we found WCS and look forward to the years to come.

    St. Elizabeth High School

    • Wilmington, DE
    • 97 reviews
Alum:St. Elizabeth High School is small, close nit community that provide excellent education both academic and religious. The things that speaks most about this school the small community, because of this we become almost family with each other. The new thing that spoke out to me was the teachers. Not only are the teachers willing to help the students, but they remember you! After my first class, the teacher already had a class room of names memorized.

    Padua Academy

    • Wilmington, DE
    • 145 reviews
Parent:Padua Academy has done an outstanding job of transforming girls into confident, faith based young women, who are well prepared for the rigors of college life. From day one as a Freshman, Padua starts the college process in their students by instilling the three S's, which are, Scholarship, Sisterhood and Service. The girls are both guided and challenged throughout their 4 years; academically and through the actions of their faith by the initiation of community service, and various service projects that extend beyond the boarders of the United States. Padua Academy also provides international student studies, which allows for a multicultural and global diversity of learning both in and out of the classroom. Although Padua Academy is a little bit of a financial sacrifice from a parent prospective. The end result you will see in your dauther, is priceless!

Senior:I really enjoyed going to STMA. The small size of the student body is its trademark as that is what allows for the tight knit community, small class sizes, ability to be a part (and take an active role in) multiple programs and organizations within the school. . But, there in lies its faults. Although the environment is conducive to making you academically prepared for college, students lack in some of the experiences that their peers may have in other schools. Programs are fueled by interest, so as interest falls, sports teams and clubs may be discontinued year to year. Overall, I would definitely choose STMA again because of the education I had and the relationship with my classmates, but I do wish some parts about the school were different.

Parent:My child began RLCA in middle school and quickly adapted to the students, faculty and culture. Red Lion offers all that I expected by way of a Christian education by incorporating Christ in all of the classes and the culture. I am pleased with the academics at RLCA. My only concern is the diversity of the staff at the school. Although the faculty and staff are great people, it is not very diverse.

    Delmarva Christian High School

    • Georgetown, DE
    • 11 reviews
Alum:A Christ-centred school that lives up to its mission to "prepare students spiritually, academically, and physically, to know and do God's Will in their lives'". I attended DCHS all four years and graduated Salutatorian out of a class of 42, but don't let the small class size discourage you—this school has intimate lessons built for students who want to learn! And believe me, the school lives up to its academic profile by thoroughly preparing teens for college.
