    Keystone School

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 36 reviews
Senior:Keystone School is a private institution whose mission is materialized by the achievements of its students. Time and time again I have heard, and first hand experienced, the warmth, the acceptance, and the unity of Keystone's close-knit community. The enthusiasm to discover and experiment by the students and faculty, is something words can't describe because of how profound it is. As a graduating senior, I have learned what it means to be a student. But most importantly, I have learned what it means to be a good citizen who is ready to change the world.

Junior:While the school is very academically challenging, you never feel alone in your academic strife. You are always helped by your teachers and peers, as the environment is not competitive as all. Instead, the student s feel like one unit striving for success as a whole, instead of individually.

TMI - The Episcopal School of Texas

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 31 reviews
Alum:TMI in my opinion, as I have just graduated from there in 2016, had many ups and downs. I definitely think of it as a challenging school that prepares one very well for college, but I feel the faculty and the way the school functions needs to be worked on. But overall if you want your child to be prepared for college, this school definitely helps because they will keep your child busy.

    Geneva School of Boerne

    • Boerne, TX
    • 26 reviews
Senior:Geneva School of Boerne is a great school to attend. Geneva truly excels in growing their students from kindergarten to their senior year, as evident in academic abilities and Christian virtues that many students possess. From the very moment I have stepped onto the Geneva campus I have been welcomed with open arms. Their is a such a strong unity among the students and the staff of Geneva School of Boerne. Fellow students encourage each other to be better, and the teachers and administrative staff are the most helpful I have ever met. The teachers found at Geneva are highly educated, and are always willing to help their students. I have found great growth and encouragement throughout my time at Geneva. It is a wonderful school that I have been truly blessed to attend.

Alum:There are some excellent teachers here, but the turnover for most is too high to establish a proper sense of stability for most students. The choral music is excellent, but other areas could be further developed.

Senior:Antonian College Preparatory High School has prepared me for the future in many ways. Because if its smaller nature I can personally get to know all the administration and students in my grade and in others. While the academics are challenging and homework is time consuming it has disciplined me and prepared me for the workload in college. Throughout my four years here I have learned to balance my time between academics, athletics, and my many extracurricular activities. While it is required to complete a certain number of service hours/volunteer work every year the school provides us with numerous opportunities and the encouragement to give back our community.

    Incarnate Word High School

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 130 reviews
Alum:Being an all girl's school, you can expect for there to be cattiness and drama. To all you incoming freshman who are contemplating taking algebra pre-AP, don't do it. You get stuck with the meanest teacher, and have a better chance of not getting her by taking regular math. There are definitely some genuine people that really try to make a difference in their student's lives, and I'm lucky to have been taught by them. The modular system is fantastic, and definitely pays off in college. The food is overall pretty good, and it's great wearing uniforms because nobody is worrying about anybody else because we're all wearing the same thing. There are certain mothers that graduated in what seems like 1960, and are still looming around the halls being busy bodies. Overall, I enjoyed my high school years and got a fantastic education.

Senior:As a senior, my days at San Antonio Christian School will soon be coming to an end. I am thankful that I can truly say that I will miss this place that has become my second home. I am also proud to say that I feel completely prepared for all that is ahead of me in my college career because of the preparation I have received from San Antonio Christian School. I love the location of SACS, the facility, and the teachers. It is extremely evident that the teachers care about us and it is more than just a job to them — they are eager to invest in our lives as students.

    New Braunfels Christian Academy

    • New Braunfels, TX
    • 17 reviews
Parent:My stepson had a great experience at NBCA! Academics are top-notch, and he felt very well prepared for college. It's small enough that he had the opportunity to play sports as well as be involved in band and BPA - all of that wouldn't have happened at a large public school. It's not so small that they don't have alot to offer, though. We were very pleased that we chose this school, and know that he has lifelong friends as well as great relationships still with his former teachers and coaches.

The Christian School at Castle Hills

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 58 reviews
Parent:This school has been a blessing to my girls. I began enrollment for my girls (PreSchool & 2nd Grade) for 2016-2017. I have seen much improvement in academic, social, emotional and developmental skills in both my children. The joy that I see in them as they leave and arrive to school gives me peace and gratification for I know they are in wonderful, caring, and loving hands with an amazing staff, teachers, and students. My daughter had been struggling with bullying and anxiety prior to this amazing school. Her classmates and teachers here have made her feel so happy and comfortable that I have witnessed how much self confidence she has developed since her arrival at this school. We are grateful to have chosen among other schools The Christian School at Castle Hills, one of the best decisions we made for our family!

Niche User:Given the choice to do school all over again (which I wouldn't necessarily be inclined to do) I would still choose Trinity. Going to TCA was a huge part in my ability to participate & excel in a variety of extracurricular activities and areas of academic study. I'm so grateful for the opportunities afforded to me through TCA such as Dual Credit classes, student leadership programs, and academic clubs.

    Central Catholic High School

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 65 reviews
Alum:My experience at Central Catholic was an extremely memorable one. Due to its size, I was able to get close with my entire graduating class. We were all involved in each others lives in big and small ways, and that is something I cherish especially now. My only dissatisfaction with the school comes with the buildings. Granted, they built a new one before I granted, but we were told we were receiving a basketball gym, but it never fell through. Overall, I loved this place and I plan for my future sons to attend Central Catholic.

    Providence Catholic School

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 98 reviews
Senior:What I very much enjoyed about this school was the strong sisterhood and academics. Although some of the work I received depending on the class was just unnecessary busy work. However, the administration sucks. The admin. never allows students to express themselves, and was extremely strict about the smallest, most insignificant things you could possibly imagine. I do love this school, but the administration made me want to leave sometimes. This school will help you find out who you are as a person, and you will 100% make life-long friends. (but seriously, watch out for that administration)

Parent:RCBA provides a quality Christian education in a loving environment. The environment feels like family. The students are kind and the teachers are passionate about the school. Our son is thriving at RCBA.
There are plenty of activities for the students. There is good diversity among the student body. It provides excellent continuity as students can attend from PK3 through 12th grade. It is ASCI accredited. The facilities are new and shared in part with the church, which is a new building. There are varsity sports. The children go on field trips. The teachers are certified. The children may bring their lunch or purchase a variety of hot lunches.

    St. Anthony Catholic High School

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 79 reviews
Senior:My time at St. Anthony has been great. When I first got their I was shy and didn't know many people. However, as time passed, I became comfortable there and more open. This is because the school is a true community. Everyone cares for one another, no matter how different you are. This fact is what makes St. Anthony so great. If I could change something about the school, it would involve this theme of community. I would want more opportunities or activities that strengthen our community.

    Cornerstone Christian Schools

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 89 reviews
Senior:Cornerstone Christian Schools is truly the best Christian school in the United States. I attended both the brick and mortar school and the online school. In both, the teachers and administration are interactive, personal, and family-like. The school teaches a level of responsibility that I have not learned anywhere else. I attended public school most of my life and I can say that CCS has taught me more, educationally, spitirually, and moraly, than I learned at my (awesome) public schools. Cornerstone Online is no different. What you learn stays with you, and the teachers make sure that you're learning all you can. In addition, it's so easy to follow. There is no excuse not to know what is expected of you.

Top school. I recommend it to anyone. I love the past two years I have had with this online school and the one year I was able to attend the brick and mortar school.

Lutheran High School of San Antonio

    • San Antonio, TX

High School Junior:Basketball is something very unique about this school. We use a style of play used by very few collages and no NBA teams. This way of play is sub 5 in 5 out every 45 seconds, sprinting whenever your in. My favorite experience is being a part of this style of play. Our last game this year the final score was 104-102. Normal scores are half that. The style of basketball isn't the only thing unique or awesome about my school. our school hasn't hit one hundred students in years. Now, starting from last year, each freshman class consists of 45+ students, the junior class is up to 42, and we finally were upped to 3A. I'd choose this school again because of the uplifting staff, the promising future, and diverse range of clubs and activities.

High School Sophomore:This school has challenged me to try my best no matter if it is a test or homework. This school is religious not just in words but in actions. I would choose this school again because it has taught me a lot. The environment is Godly and safe for everyone. The teachers care about your grades and your future academically and spiritually. The teachers come from different backgrounds and are all unique and great people. I truly love this school and from what I heard about other private Christian schools we have a good reputation for keeping our identity in Christ. This school has taught me to love learning and sometimes I can't wait to learn something new. I'm very thankful for this school!
