    Keystone School

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 36 reviews
High School Junior:It's a very good school. This is my seventh year at Keystone, and I know for sure that I would not want to be anywhere else. I have met incredible people, both classmates and faculty, and I'm so grateful for all of the experiences I've gotten to have so far. Keystone has allowed me to go to places I would have never been able to go to otherwise (Yellowstone National Park, Olympic National Park, etc.) and I've received a great education.

    Saint Mary's Hall

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 26 reviews
High School Junior:My school is an academically challenging school that provides a very strong foundation for college. Even though the classes are challenging and it may seem that all you ever do when you get home is homework, the teachers get to know you one on one because its a relatively small school and they go out of their way to help us, even when it's almost midnight and you have a question on the homework!

TMI - The Episcopal School of Texas

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 30 reviews
Niche User:TMI could not have been a better fit for me. The teachers are, on the whole, wonderful and always willing to help. The environment is friendly, the campus is gorgeous, and the class sizes are generally pretty small--especially in the AP and honors level courses the higher in grade-level one gets. I absolutely love it.

Niche User:Antonian College Preparatory High School was the best school for me and my family. It is a friendly, and loving environment. The classes were difficult at times but if you listen to the teacher and did your work any student would be fine. There are too many clubs and activities available to get involved in. No matter what you like there is something for you. Every person will be able to be happy at this school. The parents will be too because as a college prep school they do everything they can to get you into college. The college counselors are so helpful and sweet they will get you into your dream school. Antonian is great and fun and sets up you for the future.

    Incarnate Word High School

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 130 reviews
High School Senior:I have been challenged and have shown myself that I can overcome difficult encounters. I love my school and I know my parents have sacrificed a lot to send me here. I appreciate the all-girl environment, I have been able to focus on what is important, my future. The school spirit is self-evident, but sometimes I feel that the students involve themselves too much with what is not important. The modular system them by school follows has enabled the students to emulate a college schedule, which I feel has prepared me the most. If I could do it all over again, I would still choose Incarnate Word. There will always be things that we wish we can change, but overall, I feel at home. The grass is always green when there are shamrocks!

    San Antonio Christian School

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 53 reviews
Niche User:We've been here now 3 years and this is most likely our last year due to the academics. They are definitely behind the curve with other private schools and even public schools. The Christian aspect is wonderful but the teachers are hit or miss. After 3 years I'm now wishing we had just put our child into the highly ranked public school we're zoned to. Many families have left due to this reason alone and the ones that have left in prior years are all saying that their kids are behind in other schools. So I have to ask myself, "What am I paying for?"

    New Braunfels Christian Academy

    • New Braunfels, TX
    • 17 reviews
High School Senior:My time at NBCA is something I'll never forget. I have had fantastic relationships with all of my teachers and each of them genuinely care about the academic and holistic success of the students. They and the faculty members make themselves available whenever you need them, even if it's just to talk. My one and only complaint would be the facilities, but I understand that a privately funded institution will not have the grandeur of a federally funded one. Because it is such a small school you really cultivate amazing and close knit relationships with everyone in your class and those in other grades. The environment is so inviting and I am proud to say that I will be graduating from NBCA this spring and wouldn't have it any other way.

The Christian School at Castle Hills

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 58 reviews
High School Senior:The superintendent is determined to give the students at my school a top quality education that will prepare us for college and the work force. He has turned our school around since he has taken over and I am more proud to be part of it. We are able to have more pride in our school because the teachers are held to a higher standard as are the students. The athletic department has also been a big part of my high school and I have enjoyed being on the team and the team captain for the past few years. We all play hard, but we work at playing with grace and mercy as well.

    Trinity Christian Academy

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 32 reviews
Niche User:I love the school not only because I found my best friends there, but I made connections and learned things from some great teachers that will last a lifetime. School shouldn't just be about the social hour and sports, but those were the main experiences that I gained from the school. The retreats are always a plus to attend every year and they should never stop, because they have a way of bringing the student body together like never before.

    Holy Cross of San Antonio

    • San Antonio, TX
    • 58 reviews
Parent:I love this school because it is small and everyone seems to know each other and their child. This school is not over run

by popular crowds. What I do not like is when my child gets home and asked what they learned, their response either "we watched a movie" or "he was talking about nothing that has to do with school". What? Either that or an instructor who feel he has to be belittle kids to make himself feel superior.
