    Episcopal School of Acadiana

    • Broussard, LA
    • 49 reviews
Middle School Student:Wow do I love this school. The students have so much freedom on and off campus. The reason for this is because of our honor code. The honor code states that "I will not lie, cheat, or steal, or withhold information of those who do. " This allows students to trust each other, and others know they can count on me to do the right thing. The teachers sometimes give you things to do at home that you can easily cheat on, including tests and homework. I was also a part of the varsity cross country team as a 7th grader, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Another great thing about esa is there are no tryouts for any team. Anyone who decides that they want to play a sport can play. My point is that ESA is the best school ever and I am very thankful that I am able to go here.

    Episcopal School of Baton Rouge

    • Baton Rouge, LA
    • 89 reviews
High School Junior:I definitely think EHS is a lot more liberated than other schools as we are allowed to do things inside and outside of class you wouldn't be caught dead doing in public schools. I think the most notably experiences at EHS are like big events the high school grade levels do together within school, such as warball, field day, Homecoming week, launch day, etc. And it's really fun and exciting to see all the grades bond when participating, decorating or cheering on fellow classmates during these events. Events like this definitely add to the uniqueness of EHS but it also adds to the atmosphere as each student is able to connect, grow and learn with each other.

    St. Martin's Episcopal School

    • Metairie, LA
    • 30 reviews
High School Senior:My PERSONAL experience was pretty amazing. It was a culture shock, but allowed me to see things in a different way. I know that if I would have gone there for four years, I would have been overwhelmed and most likely had left mid high school. Two years was just enough for me to experience the great things it had to offer. I love theater, and I think the English department here is bogus. At my old school, students were challanged without being drowned inreading assignments and english papers. I hate the english department. My teacher ast year was way better thn this year though. I love the administration. They were so kind to me. I will never say anything bad about them. One thing is, I think the teachers and students alike need divesification courses. I felt alone at this school in terms of race because I recieved biased views that were actually defaming to my race as a whole but they did not understand it.

    Louise S. McGehee School

    • New Orleans, LA
    • 36 reviews
Parent:This school takes a young girl and produces an well-educated, poised, self-confident young woman who knows her mind and who will excel in college. Unlike other schools in New Orleans, McGehee specifically focuses on teaching 21st century learning skills such as communication, collaboration and creativity, rather than a large quantity of AP classes. In this way, I think the graduates are more prepared for life and education beyond high school and not just getting a leg up on the college classes they will take.

    Ascension Episcopal School

    • Lafayette, LA
    • 32 reviews
Senior:My experience at Ascension has been life changing. Before I came to this school I was an anti social kid with lots of issues and no friends. When I came to this school, the students and faculty just accepted me and taught that its ok to be who you truly are because you are no one else but yourself. That's something to be proud of! Within a year my entire life had shifted, I had gone from this shy kid to this super outgoing and social guy who loved to preform in front of people and make new friends and meet new people. Ascension is definitely one memory that i will keep with me forever. The only thing I would change about Ascension is that I wish the curriculum was a little bit harder so that it could have challenged me more and prepared me more, but honestly I think I'm just fine. I love this place.

    Bethany Christian School

    • Baker, LA
    • 16 reviews
Niche User:My favorite experience at Bethany Christian School was the very first time I accepted Christ. The sense of school spirit is like no other, everyone is supportive of the sports teams and they cheer at every game like it's the championship. If I could choose to go to school all over again I would pick Bethany every time. Even though it is socially awkward I couldn't have asked for a better education.

    • 116 reviews
Parent:We love everything about Parkview! The teachers are very committed to the students. They do everything they can to help them succeed. The administration is extremely friendly and helpful. The only regret I have is that I waited so long to send my child there! He started his High School years at another school then transferred to Parkview. He has told me numerous times that he wished he would have always gone to Parkview. He immediately fit in and made wonderful friends.

    Grace Christian School

    • Alexandria, LA
    • 39 reviews
Senior:Grace Christian School is a school like no other. The teachers car an incredible amount about each student. The teachers love Christ so much it is so encouraging. Also, the teachers work extremely hard to prepare students for college and each alumni that returns to visit states how ready they were for the college life. The academics are outstanding as it possess the highest GPA and ACT scores in central Louisiana. The clubs are quality as they may not be large compared to other schools but they are top tier in their effort. The school puts forth much effort to make sure the students are as safe as possible. The school's sports are also one of great legacy, I have won a state championship in track, one amongst many of the school. The baseball team and basketball team never disappoint in their talent always promising district titles and playoff games. This school is very dear to me and I will miss it majorly when I graduate.

    Holy Cross School

    • New Orleans, LA
    • 32 reviews
Parent:Although the school could amp up the math department the school challenges my son in every aspect. There is one math teacher in particular that I am honored for my son to have been in his class. This teacher wants the boys to leave his class knowing they are prepared for the future. The school is academically challenging offering several foreign languages, arts, AP, honors and regular classes in many subjects. Holy Cross has several PhD's on staff and continue to hire high caliber certified teachers to give the classes and school a college atmosphere. Each year they increase the amount of Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement classes. Holy Cross offers incentives for maintaining A's throughout the school year by exempting them from final exams if they maintain A's throughout the school year. The English department encourages creative writing, literary review and teaches them how to successfully complete term papers, preparing them for college. I am very pleased with the education my son is receiving at Holy Cross and would recommend the school to anyone!

    Cedar Creek School

    • Ruston, LA
    • 46 reviews
Parent:My parents would choose Cedar Creek again (without hesitation). My education at Cedar Creek has prepared me academically, as I make the transition into college. Wonderful diversity in class selections, including "Advanced Learning Categories", Music, Art, Foreign Language, Computer Keyboard & Applications, Drama, and hands-on Science Labs. The class sizes are small, which allows for good discussion and group activities. The campus is a family friendly environment with great parent support and involvement. The student body and faculty share a healthy respect of each other. Cedar Creek strives to achieve each student's highest potential. School spirit is maintained all year through a wide variety of campus activities, spirit organizations, pep rallies, etc. The school works hard to provide a stable and safe facility in which to learn and grow. Cedar Creek has given me the opportunity to develop strong personal values, strong self worth, integrity, and character.

    Evangel Christian Academy

    • Shreveport, LA
    • 46 reviews
Alum:I loved my years at ECA. Like every school Evangel has its qualities that are not quite up to par, but I would have the say the environment, the teachers, the other students, and the things that Evangel stand for made up for it. I could not have gone to a better high school.I would recommend ECA to anyone and everyone. Every student was friends at ECA there was no "cool" crowd, it was such a small school that you could be friends with everyone. I am a very proud ECA alumni.
