Rangeview High School located in Aurora, Colorado has been my home for the past few years. I started off high school at Rangeview, I choose this school because it was very diverse. I came to learn that this was very true all types of students from different backgrounds. They also have programs that the school offers such as College Track this is only available to 2 schools in aurora Rangeview being one. This programs is open to all students and they focus on college readiness. The program provides money for going to school and the program. This money can be used for life supplies needed in college. This school is very welcoming to new students and they have lots of events for that. Such as the assemblies and school tours. The some teachers are helpful while others aren't. I've come to connect with a number of teachers that provide me a loving and helpful environment. The teachers are also involved in a number of after school activites.

This is my first year at Rangeview Highschool. I like many things about it. Whether it's the smiles the staff has for the students every day, the friendly manners each student has, and creative ideas that they have at the school. I really love the teachers because they're all hilarious, and they always put up a good attitude and make a sad student feel happy at the end, and brighten up their mood. I also love Homecoming. It's very fun, creative, you get to meet new friends, their assembly, and even their decorations for homecoming. I also love the spirit week and the themes they have. It's fun!
Since Rangeview is in Aurora, it can get bad rep from other schools in Colorado. However, being a student here has been an awesome experience. The staff is friendly, the students are friendly, and the campus is clean. There is an open campus policy that allows students with good grades and attendance to leave the building for lunch and off periods. The school is just up the street from several food locations, which makes taking advantage of the school's open campus policy all the more fun. Going into academics, there are plenty of opportunities. For high achieving students, a variety of AP and honors classes are offered. There are also remedial classes for students that are falling behind. The social scene is very vibrant with many clubs/activities and staff that is open to accommodate it.
