While this middle school does have some diversity and the IB program, this is where it ends. The rigor of classes is nothing different than what is typically found in all other Char Meck public school settings. It’s not that the teachers are to blame. There are good and bad teachers everywhere but many have lost their passion for teaching and haven’t moved on. The curriculum needs serious upgrading so that those who desire to move ahead and excel won’t be held back or have to move to one of the many private schools in our area in order to receive an better education.
I had the most wonderful time at Randolph Middle School! The teachers, at least the ones I have, were the best they could possibly be. Everything I needed was on the rise of a hand and they allowed the students so much freedom, but not too much freedom. Going there was the best 3 years that I have had in my entire life and I would do it all over and wouldn't change one thing. There are so many different opportunities and special things that you can be included in if you go there and there isn't one thing that you can not do. The communities are amazing, the teachers are amazing, the social aspect is amazing, the education is amazing, everything is just so perfect. Highly recommend and if you do go, meet Mr. O. It will be the best decision you have ever made!
I like it because the people, are nice and the coaches are so welcoming even your first year. Also love the IB program.
