While Randolph County High School is amazing at athletics, it has very limited academic options. For example, the school spends a lot of money on football but we have not had new textbooks for years. The counselor tries to limit us on dula enrollment options instead of pushing us to do our best.

Randolph County High School is not the same school it was a few years ago. A new superintendent, new principal, and many new teachers that are enthusiastic and serious about individualized learning and student success have changed the culture of RCHS. The graduation rate has risen significantly. Students have a broader range of courses available to them through the Career Technology Center and online course access. The school also encourages dual enrollment opportunities with the local community college. The band and drama programs are growing, clubs, and all athletic programs are flourishing! It's a very diverse school that has gained much ground in academics and extracurricular activities!
I love Randolph County High School. It is a great high school. The teachers are very understanding and supportive, they really meet the needs of every individual student. The students are very positive and supportive of you. There aren't many "clicks" as you would find in other schools. Everyone gets along very well.
