Rancho High School is an amazing school! The staff is very nice and all the teachers want their students to challenge themselves and be successful. It is my fourth year and I can say I have had a great high school experience attending Rancho High School. Each day I learn something new and my teachers are always there to help me understand when I need help. The teachers are really the best, they are passionate about teaching which engages the students so much more. I have learned so much through all the rigorous classes which I know will help me later on once I go to college. There are also many clubs and other activities students can involve themselves in to be more involved with the school.

I have so far enjoyed my time at Rancho with some great teachers and some amazing participation in our school activities. I appreciate the time that our teachers take out of their day to help the students with issues. I also appreciate our administration's efforts to keep our students in check with dress code and staying on school grounds but, I feel that the overbearing person always on the students cases has caused more uprising than before. We used to have 'late-ins' where the students had a later start of the day and it was just a more happy environment. I understand the idea of all of the hall monitors and the new fence that they had built, yet I feel like the money could have gone to a alternative route like new textbooks or computers to support our teachers ability to give us the education needed. I enjoy Rancho for all of the great opportunities that they have given me. I love being able to call myself a Rancho Ram!
Rancho High School is in one of the worst communities in Las Vegas. However, Rancho is not a school to lose hope. The students show spirit in their school, and are very proud of every single accomplishment Rancho has to offer. The school is spontaneous and stands out in the the school district. Rancho High School can offer everything the other schools can offer, but is the only school in the district with an aviation maintenance program, aerospace engineering program, and a pilot program where students are presented the opportunity to get their pilot's license before they even get their drivers license. The teachers will even stay after hours to help students get the education and understanding they need in both the classroom, and the real world. The second I stepped into Rancho High School, I knew it was the perfect school for me.
