Rancho Bernardo High School became a four-year home for me. There are over 80 student-led clubs, not including sports and fun elective classes! It's super easy to get involved, and I think that is what made my experience at this school so amazing. I was the extreme when it came to involvement; I was in more clubs than I could count. But I always had fun and felt comfortable at school. The principal, Mr. LeMaster, is phenomenal. He really cares about each individual student and is always willing to be goofy to entertain the student body. RBHS has numerous sport opportunities for students interested in athletics at all skill levels and has rather competitive and high performing teams. RB is a very diverse school, without any one population standing out as a majority.

My experience so far at this school has been very good. Although you have your obvious clicks happening throughout the school, you can do your best to find a good group of friends by being active in and out of school. It's really exciting for to be involved with the community by going to football games, joining clubs, and being a part of a sports team.

Unfortunately both my freshman and sophomore year we've had school shooting threats that disrupted the entire day and haunts RB's reputation to this day. In addition, drug use isn't uncommon and it's hard to stay true to oneself with such a corrupted environment.

Most of my teachers have been really nice and have offered help to anyone struggling with the material outside of class time. There's a good amount AP class variety, so if you're one those people to try to go above and beyond you'll be sure to take some of the hard courses available here. Personally, I'm really looking forward to a few more good years of being a Bronco!
It is a very engaging school and holds the highest standards for its student body. Sport and academics are held at a high priority and the programs and extracurricular activities are superb! Also, the teachers are amazing and they all strive to create a warm, inviting, ad rigorous environment to encourage students to reach their maximum potential.
