International academic and student population; Very hands-on; Personal; Emphasis on far-reaching analytical, critical and creative thinking W/ small classes. All grades K-8 follow a Middle School pattern of rotation between subjects, with specialized (and Remarkable) teachers throughout the day. Daily Foreign Language & Culture instruction (French or Castillano) is part of the curriculum.
In all, with such happy community, and learning experiences, that the kids have to be wrestled into the car at the end of school day! Thank you

Rainard provided a sanctuary for both my son and myself!

My 5 year old found peers for the first time; smart, yearning to absorb a trememdous about of information, unsure about social skills but dying for friends who could play AND talk about fascinating subjects, and teachers that don't just push mindless worksheets along.

Rainard has been very supportive and accommodating while we navigated weekly appointments for OT, speech and doctor and worked to find a helpful ADHD medication. Teachers and administration worked around our many absences to ensure my son could catch up missed work without stressful fanfare. I can't stress enough the relief and encouragement this environment has provided for our entire family.
Rainard is a unique school for gifted students with a very low student/teacher ratio and campus designed to allow as much outdoor time as possible. I have two kids in school and we have experienced every classroom and worked with every teacher from pK to MS. The teachers are excellent. The monthly fieldtrips are great and cover anything from museums, hands-on crafts, natural sanctuaries to reenactments. My kids absolutely love the school and are learning a lot every day. Our annual IOWA test results is always several grade levels above the age level. I would highly recommend this school for gifted kids.
