The diversity at the school made it very comfortable to attend there. The subjects were not very hard to pass. Most teachers you are able to build a teacher/student relationship. The security of the school was very attentive and willing to help any student in need for whatever it may be. I wish the college had more college readiness services, classes and activities. The school lacked assisting students with community involvement and service. There also could have been better meal selections from the cafeteria for lunch. Overall my 4 years spent at Rahway High was pretty good. I will miss everyone I have met in the school.

I enjoyed my four years at Rahway High School. I was apart of every club you could think of from debate team, to Blue-Tri. We are such a diverse school and the district definitely accommodates that. We have over 30 clubs and 12 sports teams that its hard to not get involved in something. We have a great Performing Arts program, as well as one of the Track and Field and Wrestling program in the state. Academically we have numerous amounts of Honors and AP level classes for students who enjoy challenging themselves. If a students wants a diverse school, this is definitely the one for them!
Overall, Rahway High School is a good school. There are teachers who will bend over backwards for their students because they really want to see them succeed. It’s a diverse school filled with students from many different backgrounds. My biggest issue with the school is the lack of budgeting. For every single club, the students are forced to fundraise for EVERYTHING. There’s a huge lack of support for the arts from administration, especially for the marching band and other music-related activities. Like many other high schools, if it’s not the football team, they don’t care. The food here wasn’t that great either. The portions were the same as the elementary schools, but way more expensive. Rahway High School is an average school, but definitely needs some improvement.
