Racine Lutheran High School Reviews
Rating 3.33 out of 5 42 reviews
I believe that this school has been incredible. The students and staff have helped me throughout my difficulties with my family for several years. They will stop at nothing to help. There are so many opportunities at this school for every career path you could want. They work with the students to enable us. Any sort of prejudices against anyone are immediately shut down and taken care of. The curriculum is amazing, and though it is difficult, it prepares you incredibly well for college. The only bad things that I have seen, are the attitudes of some of the students, but it is immediately taken care of so this school is a positive environment. As for changes, I'd love to see our school be able to be more included into state competitions for the arts. This experience has been wonderful for me, and I can't wait for college, all thanks to my high school preparing me.
Racine Lutheran had its pros and cons, however, as a graduate from the school in my experience, there were more cons. Playing time for sports can be bought instead of earned, or given if you are related or personal friends with the coach of the sport. The school is very small and everyone knows everything all the time. The dress code is poor, and the rules, in general, are awful. For example, a teacher can take your phone, give it to the dean, and you have to pay 20 dollars for your own phone back. Many of the people, teachers, and staff are two-faced and really do not act like they want you to be successful.
I have enjoyed my time here at Racine Lutheran and I can proudly say that I went there after I finish. It has a great environment in my opinion, however there are some aspects that could be worked on like the music program.
