I have attended Rabun Gap since the 8th grade and I wouldn't have wanted to graduate from any other school. The stats don't lie at our school. We have a large international community which makes our campus inclusive to all personalities, interests, and styles. Teachers are some of the best at our school, but as far as age we have either really young teachers (22-30) or older teachers (55-75). The class sizes are smaller which makes having questions answered and hands on learning much easier. Both arts and sports departments are some of the best which include Cirque, Dance, Orchestra, Women's Golf, Wrestling, and Swimming. The relationships made at this school will last a lifetime and the work posed for you makes one very prepared for the work loads of college. Rabun Gap has to be one of the best decisions my family and I have made in my life as a young adult.
Review Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School
I love this school, however the discipline system is somewhat biased when it comes to race, but I believe it is unintentional. Rabun Gap Nacoochee School prepared me for college quite well. The work load and intensity mentally prepared me for the rigor of college. The community is loving and accepting. The school is very generous with financial aid; it gives out more aid than the top georgia high schools. It has numerous leadership opportunities, community service, and various activities. I never would have seen myself playing soccer until I came here. It pushes you to get out of your comfort zone and try new things. I will definitely be coming back to visit after I graduate.
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School is a very unique school that represents countries all over the world in its student body. I was constantly involved in the schools circus and theatre program and it helped me come out of my shell and thrive both as a student and as an independent person. The work is strenuous at Rabun Gap, but it is all part of the process to prepare you for college and the outside world.
