The teachers that I have had over the past 4 years were phenomenal. I miss attending pep rallies and what not, but I am grateful to have at least experience on attending a few during my freshmen year. My sophomore year was cut off due to COVID-19, but the teachers who I had still taught their very best. A previous teacher I had, who taught AP psychology, was one of those teachers who did anything to make sure that her students scored well on the AP exam. Her name was Mrs. Kaiser. My junior year, I took anatomy and physiology. Mrs. Fisher taught that class and she was phenomenal! For my senior year, I am currently a student intern for a teacher teaching Spanish and her name is Ms. Diaz. She is the one who told me about these scholarship opportunities! Overall, my experience here was good. I have learned quite a lot and I am looking forwards to my college years. I also want to thank the guidance team at Snider. They have provided so many good resources for my future!
I am a performing arts student, and the teachers and material here are pretty good. I have had an enriching experience in almost all of my classes, and the teachers will do their best to accommodate to the students. They have a variety of courses you can take, like AP, Honors, Duel Credit, and partnering with other programs like ICE, Anthis and Amplab allowing kids to follow the path that's best for them. The staff is kind and protective of the students, while also laying down the law when needed. I love our principal Chad Hissong, who continuously encourages us, goes to athletic and performing arts events, while also having a great sense of humor, showing that he cares for the students here at Snider.
Hey Guys and Gals,
although I am a high school senior this my first year being a panther. So far my experience has been great with the faculty, my peers, and my teachers. Since I am all virtual I usually have quite a few technology problems, but the main office and others are always quick to my aid. When I am having trouble on a particular task my teachers are quick to reexplain the question and If I am still not getting they go through the question with me. The teachers also do a great job of checking up on the students and offer a lot of 1 to 1 help.
My peers have helped me adjust to Snider in many ways. Many have welcomed me in open arms. Even though we are all virtual that doesn't keep us from conversating and helping each other out with questions we may have. If we can't figure the problem out in our breakout rooms than we can always count on the teacher to help us out! The panther community is great!
