Max Abbott is an amazing middle school. The staff members truly have a passion for teaching the students. Most teachers are available before and after school to assist you in any way possible. They make an honest effort to ensure that students are properly prepared to transition into the high school environment. I would like to see more clubs in the middle school. The administration of the school is very consistent with their method of treatment of disciplinary action. They make every effort to ensure that the students are safe and well educated in how to react if a true emergency occurs.
Excellent school, my child go this school 6-8. I work in MA MS for 3 years. I recommend this school for your child. Go Panther!
The teachers, across the board, had no consistency. They were often unorganized, rude, and neglected their duties. Some of them tried too hard to relate to the students, while others were perverse when interacting with students. The gym teachers were good, focused, and hard working. The band teacher was not prepared, and never challenged her students.
