It wasn't very friendly to new and incoming students. I personally had a hard time with integrating into the student populace and even some of the student-teacher relationships. It becomes very obvious that the school is small enough that the select students whos parents are involved in the community have immunity from responsibilities and are percieved as greater, when every other student is held to the light.
Quitman High School is a pretty great school. I believe they teach very well, unlike previous schools that I've attended. There are quite a few teachers and other staff who seem to only favor the popular students though, so that could fix. The school building itself could use a major upgrade but other than that it is, overall, pretty descent.
I love my high school because of the great experiences it has given me and the wonderful memories I have made. It is somewhere that if you are involved in some things you can make life-long friendships, and that is a wonderful thing to have.
