What I like about Quinton High School is the friendly atmosphere and the teachers want to see you succeed and with so very little they have to use. They make the best of what they receive and put the student first. Some things that could change is a better morale over the whole school athletically. The school had to cut pep assemblies which is where the whole student body bonds, we don't have them as often due to the fact we only went to school four days a week. But, all these improvements boil down to funding. I love Quinton High and I will always be loyal to it, it has been such a great support system in my life.

For a small school Quinton was a good school. Quinton has it pros and cons just like anything else. Our school does need improvements but due to the lack of funding we probably won't see any anytime soon.

Our books need to be updated as well as our technology such as the computers for when we have to take our EOIs, reading quizzes and do research for class. Our schools funding has been cut again this year so updating these things is a challenge when there are so many other bills to pay. The selection of electives, sports and clubs are limited due this and the size of the school. Some of the teachers at Quinton don't care to teach their students and I don't mean they make us have to think for ourselves periodically I mean they only teach when our administration comes to class to do the teacher evaluation. Then there are teachers who say they follow every rule our handbook and administration lay down and are super strict and have a lesson for class each day except it's not the truth they only do those things when the administration is around or it's to their advantage to break the rules. Our school administration always has their students best interest in mind but when they're confronted with a student/parent who has a problem with one of the faculty members they'll tell you they'll take care of it and everything will be okay but after that meeting with them they won't do anything about it and will avoid you every time they see you afterwards.

On the other hand we have some amazing teachers who always do whatever they can to help their students succeed and are always helping their co-workers and our school however they can. The staff at Quinton is absolutely amazing they are some of the most caring and kind people you will ever meet, it's unbelievable how incredible they are! Being a small school gives you the advantage of the teachers knowing you better. Overall if you attended Quinton Schools you would most likely have a good experience!
The secretaries are amazing. The two ladies often are found doing many jobs in school. One of the ladies is an ITV director, the bank manager for the school, and a secretary. The other is often found doing many of the principal's job. The principal can be found wondering the halls, down at the gym working out with wrestling team, and even off work for a hunting trip. Although the guidance counselor provides college fairs, she does not help with any of the scholarship opportunities, college applications, ect. Dress code at the high school is not a major issue. The students do not wear provacative clothes; however, dress code is not enforced. Different policies are weighed differently at the high school. If the principal feels that it does not happen too often then the policy is not enforced, but if he feels that it is happening too often then he decides what punishment is effictive to his liking.
