The greatest experiences I've had are all within my sports that I participated in. I believe the same would go for everyone who participates in their extra curricular activities or sports. The biggest thing that should be changed about the school itself should be security and supervision, especially in the restrooms with the vaping issues. A sign out sheet wouldn't be the worst idea over a bathroom pass to prevent giant groups of students going in at once into restrooms. Overall I had a positive experience at QHS!
I’ve had overall a great experience at Quincy Senior High School. One of the standout aspects was the dedicated and passionate faculty. I think I was lucky to get schedules with consistantly good teachers every year. The manority of my teachers were genuinely invested in our success and growth, both academically and personally. My involvement in sports added another layer of fulfillment to my high school years. As a basketball and soccer player, there were lots of times I had to miss a class or two for games. Most of the teachers were pretty understanding and willing to work with my busy schedule.
However, I do wish the school had provided more resources and guidance in preparing for college from our freshman year. Starting early would have made this senior a year a lot less stressful because I would feel more prepared.

I have enjoyed my time at Quincy Senior High School. My freshman year began in 2020 and they did a great job dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping the students and staff safe. In my time here, I have had good experiences with classes, staff, students, clubs, and events. I have become more involved since starting here which has been a great decision, as it has given me life experiences that I will value for the rest of my life.
