Quincy Notre Dame is a close-knit community where help is always available and everyone knows each other well. This is perfect, but as always, there are downsides to a small school. The school lacks the variety of courses that a larger school could offer, but does offer a few dual enrollment courses at local universities to help offset that. The sports and clubs are well organized and popular with almost everyone involved in at least one thing to another. Overall, I love the school and it has been a great experience.
QND was an amazing school! Everyone was warm and welcoming. I transferred in my sophomore year. The faculty and staff were understanding and took extra time to help me catch up.
Quincy Notre Dame is not only a school, but it is my second family. QND is such a warm and welcoming place to be. No matter where or what you attend that is related to Quincy Notre Dame, you will feel welcome. The beliefs at QND are to act like Christ in everything we participate in. I am a current senior who is involved with a lot of extracurricular activities at QND. I play volleyball and soccer and enjoy both sports because of how much the team turns into my family in just a short season. I am also involved with Kindness Club, Secret Club, and Hands and Feet of Christ. Growing up attending Catholic grade schools and then attending Quincy Notre Dame, it has taught me to be a more humble and kind person. It has taught me to accept everyone no matter their beliefs and values because everyone was made in the image of God and my main focus needs to be on strengthening my relationship with God so that one day I can meet Him in person.
