I have attended this Queens Gateway since the 6th grade and now I’m currently in 10th grade. The environment at a school is always important considering we go there 5 days a week, the school is clean along with their bathroom and the classrooms are well structured. Teachers are considerate about any confusions you have during the class, very friendly and take their time to help you understand the material. However, one thing this school doesn’t provide as much are clubs and extracurricular activities they do have a few sports, but other than that I wish that they include more so that students can explore different areas to learn about what they may be passionate about. For instance, I never knew I was interested in volleyball until I joined the team on my school and now I enjoy playing volleyball so much and it makes me relieved and happy when I do play. Overall academic wise the school is great provides many ap courses for you take etc.
Overall within this school I have gained a deeper insight regarding perspectives and the various issues that encapsulate this upcoming generation of adults. I have retained memorable information from excellent teachers who believe in their students. With kind educators and a focus on AP classes, students have a more detailed education with knowledge that is shared to all no matter ones race, economic status and perceived intelligence. I am gratuitous for this schoolbut can not act as if it is excellent. School culture is minimal with clubs that originated as of March 2020. It is a very small school and it is vital to highlight this fact when assessing the capabilities. Nonetheless the lack of trips and help from administration has resulted in the rating that does not deem the school above average. Overall it is crucial to highlight the positives and to not loathe in cynicism. This school has great teachers and great classes.
My experience at Queens Gateway to Health Sciences Secondary School was absolutely fabulous. I attended this school from middle school to high school. I was able to build such a unique bond with everyone at that school that I consider them to be my family. From time to time I go back to visit previous facility members, teachers, and friends from the lower grades. This school prepared me to face college with the best resources and skills that I need in order to survive. I wouldn't trade my experience with that school at all because I am forever grateful.
