Overall, my experience at Quaboag has been fairly positive — but I can only really say that because I’m an AP and honors student. The teachers in these programs are exceptional; they are very attentive to their students’ academic needs and are aware of the pressures of balancing life.

The teaching and discipline styles seem to work almost perfectly with the AP/Honors kids, but there are many more problems related to the CP level classes — with teachers venting their frustrations to students.
As for the school itself, it is located in a low-budget school system. The food is mediocre at best, lacking enough access to salads or vegetarian/vegan options for those with dietary restrictions; the ingredients in the food are also not clearly stated. The bathrooms are locked between classes with a sign in/sign out system where only one student is allowed in the entire bathroom at a time despite there being five stalls.

I am a current senior at Quaboag, and have been at the school since 7th grade. The teacher and staff are all really nice and supportive. The academic programs are okay, but sometimes the teachers lack the ability to help students succeed in the class. Sports are a big part of the school, but the teams are not great, especially the football team. Every new school year the 7th graders behaving worst than the previous grade; they get into fights, do drugs, or set trash cans on fire. A lot of students vape during class and do other sorts of drugs. Much of the boys are sexist, and make really inappropriate comments or jokes. If you look past all that, there are a lot of kind people at Quaboag, and it isn't that bad.
Quaboag is a very small school with limited funding and therefore less opportunities than other schools but it is because of this that the community is so strong. Teachers are able to really listen to their students and give everyone the time they need and administration is very good at communicating and working with the students. The administration is dedicated to opening up new opportunities and continuously improving themselves. Because it is such a small community, it is a very close knit and strong one and a great cooperative learning environment.
