Pymatuning Valley High School Reviews

Pymatining Valley has its ups and downs just as any other school does, but at PV the way the downs are handled makes it a wonderful place to be. Extracurricular activities blend together to create families in their teams, and the teachers really do care for the students and make them feel like they are supported.
Overall it is a good country area school. I feel like other schools around the area in a 50-mile radius are a bit more advanced in their classwork. I wished there was more advisor interaction for the seniors. The team and school spirit is unstoppable, the energy is very positive. Our pep rallies are really THE BEST. They can be watched on UTube
I Love Pymatuning Valley High School! It is such a small school with a big community. Everyone is willing to help anyone. Everyone successes together at PVHS!
I am a senior at PV this year, and what I really like is how much the teachers are willing to help you. Whether it is in sports, academics, clubs, etc. If you ask they'll help as best as they can. Safety is a big thing at our school when it comes to safety within the school, personal safety, and safety outside of school. At PV there is a good choice of sports to pick from so if there's something you have an interest in we probably have it. We are always a welcoming school to anyone new or anyone trying something they've never done before like say Track and Field. Moving onto the more negative or things I don't like about PV is we do have a history of students having weed in our school, but it gets taken care of quickly. Personally for me I pack my lunches but when I did eat lunch from the school sometimes it wasn't the greatest but other times it was good.
It was terrible and only few care about the success you'll make in the future. The school was based around our sports which sucked and the arts and science programs were being put on hold because of this. Many of us had to raise our own money for our band and choir because the people didnt care for it. The people only cared about our terrible football and the lack of guidedness put some students in a hole when they went into the real world for not knowing what to do.
Iv never been the stereotypical popular girl but mostly everyone at Pymatuning Valley is friends there is no so called groups
I liked Pymatuning because the teachers were always more than helpful. I would like to see better food options there though.
Academics are not always taken seriously, classes are often interrupted by needless assemblies that take up time that could be spent in an AP course. Teacher do not always seem to take the job seriously.
We're not a very unsafe school. We are pretty typical as far as security in a small community goes.
It's like any other public school. Nothing too great about it, we do have our pride though.
A few teachers will go above and beyond for their students but a few will not. If you're willing to put in the work, they are too.
I feel as if because of this school I have been molded into the best person I can be!
We have a god mix of pizza, potatoes, and salad bars. We also have options and it is clean and the lunch people are always pleasant.
We have what we need to get by, but its old and kind of beat up.
They do not go out of their way to help, and they all tell us that college is so much different and so much harder. They do not put very much effort into their teachings.
We have so much to offer, whether it be for scholastic opportunities or sports. They make it so everyone has something they can do after school.
I have loved it. I mean going to PV gave me the chance to go to a Post Secondary Education school, which I feel helped me greatly. I feel as if we have the most people going to pseo.
