Growing and learning while going to school was stressful for me at times. I often didn't like school. I didn't want to be around people so early and I didn't want to do work so early. During my senior year though I came to appreciate my teachers and my time at school. The teachers are what made the school better. Some hold such good advice and have so much wisdom. Some are just very personable and easy to talk to about your problems. Some are just good teachers, they know how to help and get you to understand their concepts.
PLHS is a great learning environment where students are able to explore their academics and extracurricular. The school district provides a safe and comfortable atmosphere where students can be themselves. The teachers teach according to the students who are learning for the best possible outcome. People feel like they belong here. That is the most important thing when it comes to going to school.
My experience with the high school was very mixed, there were times when I felt like I was learning a lot and then there were other times when I felt like I was not learning much that would help me to further my career. I do like the teachers that they have at the school that is one of the pros, but I would like to see a lot of change with the courses that you can take, and more quality of life changes for the students.
