Pulaski Academy Reviews

We moved from Texas and found that PA had the same values and great teachers for our 4 y/o and 6 y/o. We were very happy with the education and the overall feeling of community that the school provided. A lot of great people that we will never forget and are thankful we met. As our boys transitioned from lower to middle school we really started to notice a change in the culture of the school. The environment shifted from a close knit group to a liberal emphasis on everything from tech to history. This was not a little evident but overly noticeable and ultimately led to the head of the upper school and the night school principal being let go. The majority of the changes happened after Covid. A lot of new kids transferred into PA from area schools. That’s good, bring a new perspective to the group… well, not really. The original students were continued to be held to the same standards as they were before, however the new kids were not. Way to much liberal small town entitlement. We left
What I like the most about Pulaski Academy is the level of education that you receive during a person's time here. The curriculum is high level, as well as the classes. I also like the variety of classes that one can take. For example, there are a large number of art classes at the school, but if you are not into that, there are plenty of other classes such as varieties of math, computer science, and science. The community at Pulaski Academy is also great too, as the school's goal is to act as one big family. However, there are some downsides to going to this school. To start, some social aspects can be hard when you are with other people not from your school, as Pulaski Academy has a reputation of being a rich school for primarily white students, which does not sit well in today's society. Overall, students that attend here tend to be disrespected due to the school they go to. Overall though, the school provides a great education system that will help me succeed further in my life.
You will not find a better education in the Little Rock Area. I can confidently say that Pulaski has pushed me academically and athletically and is a major reason why I am going to an elite NESCAC school. The teachers are very easy to reach and a large percentage of the student body is driven to excel. Although many students strive to achieve success the student environment is very collaborative and encouraging. A nicer campus would be great but it does not inhibit any part of student life. Athletics are strongly supported and almost every sport has won a conference or state championship during my tenure. If the campus was more on par with competing schools it would be a five star.
