PUC Triumph Charter High School is a small school where you will get to know, eventually, every student in your grade. The teachers do try there best and are very supportive, however, the diversity amongst them is primarily white. My Favorite teachers in the school that showed the most concern and care for me were Mr.Forbes and Ms.Livingston. The counselors were the best counselors I have ever met. I believe that Ms.Wolk and Ms.Sanches were single handily the main reason why I and many seniors, in my graduating class and from previous years, are graduating and moving on to college. Triumph is a small school and you may think you cant get a full high school experience from here, or so I thought when I came to learn that as much as you put into this school is as much you will get back.
I have yet to graduate, but these years have really changed up my life. Inside relationships with teachers, admin, and friends were built. It isn't a populated school as all my other ones but most importantly, I feel as I mean something in the school, mostly everyone knows who I am in a good way. It's my type of school with a lot of friendly people. The teachers are not like the ones like in elementary and or my first year of middle school. These teachers actually get involved with you, they know who you are and can connect to you another level than just Teacher-Student behavior which I would classify as the teacher does their job and the student does what they can to get into one (a job). I appreciate the school for everything they have supported me with and overall think anyone who has had a rough educational past, can change that in my high school.
TCHS is a Golden Ribbon School which says a lot about the academics here. Teachers are extremely helpful and supportive, especially when students need an extra push! There is great school culture since there are monthly R.O.A.R.S assemblies to recognize the effort of the students. In these assemblies we play games to cheer on our grade level which increases the school spirit! Additionally, there are campus staff around the school making sure the students are secured. Overall, the Triumph is an amazing school in academics, sports, clubs & activities, and more!
