What I like about PUC Lakeview charter high school is the education that they have. It is one of the best in Southern California as a High school because the PUC teachers engage a lot of students into learning when they teach and help a lot of students more than most teachers. The teachers really care about the students and if someone is struggling, the teachers will know if they need there help. PUC lakeview charter high school also is a college prep school that helps students prepare for college and will help and inspire students to go to college. Every year in the senior grade, 95% of the class goes straight into college and I am so thankful that I have a school that focuses on the students and cares about the students future. Lakeview charter high school is very unique in the education system and one of the greatest that I have ever been to and I am grateful to be a part of.
I really only went to Lakeview because my cousins went there but I guess it's a good school. The teachers really care about our education and want us to succeed. Even though the work load sometimes gets a little heavy they make sure to help us or give us extensions on deadlines so that we don't feel overwhelmed. One thing that they also have is good security because there's staff outside in the parking lot in the cafeteria, in the campuses, and almost everywhere so even though some students must think it's like feeling suffocated I feel like it's good so that they are there to see when there is an emergency or if we need help with something.
The school environment is welcoming! If you walk in looking for a certain student anyone on campus can help you find them, since we are all close. The school is more like a family, we all come together when we need to and its amazing. On top of that it is small so it's so easy to get help from staff and teachers. They care so much that some teachers even stay until 8pm to make sure the student has gone home safe or they stay to make sure a student is able to understand the work as well as turn in a scholarship/school application.
