My children have been here for many years with caring teachers and amazing friends. The principal is responsive and attentive to your concerns if you have any. Ms. Santana, Ms. Voss, Ms. PALMERI (my fav), Ms. Reyes, Mr. Nac (all the kids fav), Ms. Scott, Ms. Nolan, Mr. Freund, Ms.Blank and Ms. Rollins deserve honorable mention as they have taught well and demanded that their students give out what they as teachers put in. From Pandemic lessons, to lunch time extra help. Ms. Reyes, Ms. Nolan, and Ms. Blank literally got my children up to speed from being tremendously behind from a lack luster teacher (Ms. Ertz needs to go), these teachers give it all. I can not say it is a perfect school, but what school is. Also kids have issues, but I can not say bullying or feeling unsafe is one of them based on my experience with my children there. Wonderful school full of diversity and kids wanting to learn with parents supporting them.
There isn't a great variety of clubs to join in the school. Unless you're into basketball or volleyball, you're out of luck. School forces computers/art/music between 6-8th grades.
School nurse only offers ice. School safety agents are stationed by the front door. School has security cameras. Bullying is not tolerated, but does occur on occasion.
