Proviso East High School Reviews
Rating 3.37 out of 5 123 reviews
I really only like my teachers and friends. We’ve had a walkout during my junior year because the district and Superintendent were making teachers work without contracts. Some of my classes have been okay. I was barely introduced to AP classes during my junior year. Everything including academics, clubs, food, etc. needs to improve.
I was very satisfied with my experience at proviso east. In proviso east I felt like comfortable because I was in a school that had understanding and patience with their students. Throughout all the pitfalls I’ve been through, east has helped push through. There have been times where I could’ve failed because of the obstacles I’ve been through like pretty There was also the time of the start of the pandemic where we had to readjust to online school and I did not have wifi or a charger for my laptop, so the school didn’t hear from me for a few weeks. Soonly, the school called my mother and quickly helped me with the right resources. I am grateful for their help and patience which really helped aid me to graduate.
Proviso East High School has a long way to go. The classroom sizes are way to big, the school has a number of safety hazards, and the classroom hardly prepare students for college/university readiness or adult life.
