PCD continues to provide an amazing education to both our son and daughter. The community is welcoming - it is home to our family. The faculty is accessible, caring, approachable, not only to the students, but to everyone on campus. If you are looking for a private school, PCD is worth consideration!
am very pleased that of all the options for ninth grade available we chose The Providence Country Day School for my son. I was initially attracted to PCD because of their excellent academic reputation and their commitment to developing the whole person. The first time we visited we knew it was a special place, and although we looked at what other schools had to offer, my son felt strongly that PCD was his first choice. He was most attracted to the high value they place on participation in sports and the sense of community he felt when first introduced to the campus. He felt immediately welcomed. I was most attracted to the fact that I was confident that not only would he be pushed academically, but also challenged to take chances, discover new things and be held to a standard that promotes active citizenship and ethical behavior. We have certainly not been disappointed. The faculty and staff exhibit extraordinary willingness to go above and beyond to meet their students needs.
I love Providence Country Day! I feel like I belong here. I have been here for four years and I have had so much fun! The teachers and the school culture are amazing! I have made friends that will last a lifetime! I have been involved in so many programs that are so different from each other, but at PCD it works!
