Providence Classical Christian School Reviews
Rating 4.67 out of 5 6 reviews
Our family has been thoroughly impressed with Providence. We have seen our children's confidence and character grow steadily in a wonderful direction as they have progressed at the school from kindergarten on. We currently have three boys at the school, with the oldest being a 7th grader, and I'm blown away by what they know and can explain at their age compared to the education I received in public school (which may not be saying much)!
Combining the excellent and rigorous scholastic education with Christian character building is a recipe for success.
I'd recommend that anyone interested in Providence assess it against a different rubric. It's not going to provide some big school amenities or feel like a bustling campus. Rather, it feels more like a learning boutique with a highly focused learning methodology (the trivium) totally committed to Bible-based character development.

We found pccs three years ago when our daughter was entering second grade and our son was entering fourth.
Wow, what a change from public school. The rigor of the education was incredible - from the sentence diagramming to the wonderful, classic, literature, to the Singapore math, to public speaking, to Latin, to an amazing music program.
The Classical model is clearly working for our kids. They come home talking about Latin conjugations and singing grammar and history jingles. The older kids we've met are very impressive, indeed.
All of the grammar teachers we've had have been wonderful. I truly believe they love their students.
It is not a nominally Christian school. The Biblical world view is at the center of everything. The fruits of that are quite apparent.

It's a small school with not as many options as the public schools or even some other private schools, but the closely knit community is well worth it!
