All throughout my years in PCTA have been nothing but an utterly joyful time as all of the teachers and staffs are very engaging with their students. There's no impartiality when it comes to teacher acknowledgment and recognition for students, every student is heard and their opinions are respected and shared. the school has a variety of different after school programs for everyone, and some programs even come with perks. When it comes to skills USA competitions, our school is known for its very competitive students that are willing to give it all during Skills to represent their school and state. I graduated this year, but that doesn't mean that I won't be returning this fall to catch up with all of my teachers as they are a part of my life now.
The thing I like about this school is the amount of help they give you , they push you to step out of your comfort zone to make sure you grow as a student. There are many after school clubs for you to join , and if you see one that you would like to have , they help you create one! The only thing could make better is they amount of teachers that are absent , some teachers are absent for a whole month and it affects the student because no teacher goes out of their way to grade the students work and it hurts our grade and GPA. Besides that it is an amazing school with a lot of hands on in your technical area and you become a family.
My overall experience with Providence Career Technical is that it is a unique school. Unlike any high school, Providence Career Technical has tech areas to get you ready for your future career. Tech areas like culinary arts, construction, plumbing, and even cosmetology. The tech areas become endless! A school with so much to learn, and also students with special personalities. This school is extremely diverse with the students and overall a great place to be
