Providence Academy Reviews
Rating 5 out of 5 4 reviews
Providence Academy is an incredible school. The teachers are kind and caring. They want to push their students to reach their full potential in academics and in their faith. The academics at Providence are challenging, but beneficial. The students learn how to think for themselves and challenge their beliefs in order to strengthen their beliefs. Unique classes, such as leadership and great ideas discussion, are integrated into the curriculum Providence has a house system which allows for a deep sense of community, discipleship, and healthy competition. The Providence music department is unmatched. Almost the whole high school participates in choir and the choir has won many awards. All in all Providence is a phenomenal school with caring teachers, elite academics and arts, and warm sense of community.
Providence Academy is a rigorous school that will well prepare you for the real world. While the workload may get a bit hard in the later grades, all of it is to push you to do your best. Many Providence Academy alumni have said that college is a piece of cake because of their education at Providence, and as I have begun to take college courses, this has held true for me as well!
If you want an academically rigorous school, with small class sizes and a close community, then I recommend Providence above all else.

The faculty and staff at Providence Academy are caring and loving individuals first. They see the value in each child and treat them as their own. What warms me the most as a parent is the relationship that the students have with the headmaster. Like a principal, the headmaster position can seem aloof or foreboding to younger students, but at Providence the adoration that Mr. Jung has for children makes him approachable. The students interact with him as they would with any other loving parent or teacher. In those moments I see a glimmer of what Christ must have been like with the children of his day.
