Prosser Career Academy Reviews
Rating 3.58 out of 5 427 reviews
Prosser was a great fit for me because I was able to adjust socially and academically. I am a part of their international Baccalaureate program (IB) which challenged me academically and made me a stronger writer. Apart from that they have many sports and programs which I am a part of such as Junior ROTC, National Honor Society, Water Polo and swimming. Since I am a part of all these things, I have learned how to manage my time better and gained leadership and communication skills especially from the Junior ROTC program. The staff and teachers are very welcoming and support their students mentally and academically. They make sure that they set us for success which is why many teachers let us know of opportunities that are available for students. They also support us a lot when we have a big assignment that has to be due like the IA papers that we must submit for IB. The counselors at Prosser have also made sure that we get support during our college process.
Prosser Carrer academy is a great high school who helps you along the way because they want to see their students succeed. Not only does Prosser Career Academy have different programs such as CTE and DP it has a great team who cares about our future. I, a student who is in the DP program, really appreciate their guidance and their dedication when it comes to their students. Even when things where challenging for me my counselor and other teachers motivated me not to give up and push myself forward. Overall, Prosser Career Academy has helped me along the way, when it comes to preparing for college.
I chose this high school because of the distance from my house to Prosser. My freshman year I was stuck in online classes which made me pretty socially awkward. It wasn't a terrible experience but definitely isolated. Sophomore year was a really mentally challenging year for me and I had to overcome many academic challenged as well. But my favorite part about Prosser is my group of friends and the memories we've made in this building.
