The hallways were extremely crowded; it was very difficult to get around. There were many mental health issues among the students that no one cared about unless you were rich or popular. The hope squad is a performative attempt at covering up suicides. There are a lot of students saying slurs that the staff don't do anything about, but when it is spoken up about, they are ridiculed. A lot of the teachers are blatantly bigoted. The district doesn't have enough classrooms for their students nor enough teachers. A lot of the teachers ridicule their students and aren't actually there to help them. The admins are very anal and make the things they are trying to fix worse by implementing counterintuitive policies. The school counselors don't uphold your confidentiality and are very slow to respond. Overall, it's a very draining school to be in unless you are rich, white, straight, and Christian.
Prosper is an AMAZING SCHOOL! I am a current student and I have lived in two other states. Prosper ISD and PHS is by far the best public school experience I have ever had. The teachers are well trained, and actually know how to teach their subject. The coaches strive to encourage and push their athletes in all aspects of life. Every program, whether it's sports, arts, or other is excellent and well-rounded providing all students a place where they can excel and belong. The counselors do their job and go beyond the call of duty to not just help students with their schedules but with their mental health and extracurriculars. Propser High School is a place where any student can find a place to belong and can excel academically on any level. Because Prosper offers multiple levels of education difficulties no student is left behind.
Prosper High School so far has been aninteresting last 2 years for me since I’ve first came to campus. The staff and teachers are amazing people and the community itself at Prosper High is good. The people in Prosper per-say are nice people as well. Prosper is a nice small town rapidly growing everyday and can be seen as a new developed Frisco. Prosper High has many safety precautions and the overall experience of being at Prosper for 2 years has been good and I can’t wait to finish off my next 2 last years at Prosper. Also the football team and basketball teams are very good as well. Love the games at Prosper. Go Eagles!
