The school itself is amazing; large building with beautiful architecture and many additions that make the building great (aka a food court with actual restaurants, vending machines, a chromebook cart for each classroom). The school is well known for many things, including school spirit, a renowned speech and debate program, a newly revised theatre department, and many excelling sports teams. Classes are either on-level, Pre-AP, or AP. There is an opportunity to take an AP course in 9th grade - this is a wonderful choice on the school’s part and each student that successfully passes the exam feels a lot more prepared for college! My only concern is that there are too many students in the hallway; sometimes it takes almost the whole 6-minute passing period to get to my next class because of the sheer size of the gaggle of students in the hallway. You do find different routes, though, and everything else in this school is so fantastic that that just has to be overlooked.

I really like how Prosper High Schools staff is very welcoming to everyone. They have really good teachers who understand the importance of a great education. The food is INCREDIBLE! It’s not a normal school cafeteria, there’s Burger King and Pizza Hut inside.
Through every one of my four years of high school, I was fortunate enough to be able to attend Prosper High School. Some might argue that indicates that my opinion on Prosper High School might be biased; however, in my high school years, everybody in the area, whether they attended the school or not agreed that Prosper High School was one of the best high schools in the area and excelled in almost every category represented below. For example, Prosper High School, unlike many other high schools, was prodigiously immersed in the AP program, as it offered almost every possible AP class. Not only did this allow students to learn immensely, but it ensured that students were completely prepared for college. Furthermore, all of its extracurriculars, including sports and band, were always competitive, but their main focus was the life lessons and balance of being a student-athlete. Overall, Prosper High School was a great high school experience due to all of its positive aspects.
