This small-town school radiated a warm atmosphere that embraced me in its arms. This made my high school years much less overwhelming and much more welcoming. It became a place where everyone knew everyone, forming a tight-knit community. The teachers recognized every students’ faces and remembered every students’ names. They made it their mission to allow for the students to learn and pass their classes. While the school was socially inviting, the physical interior was often the opposite.
Bathrooms and locker rooms were riddled with cracks and graffiti. Empty brown rolls filled the toilet paper holders. Toilet seats were stained. Despite some of the negatives, I enjoyed my time at this school.

The programs my school offered to me made me increase my knowledge and made my experience an overall really good memory. Overall my experience was one of the best ones. My school helped me find an interest in my career and also it's helping me form a character of a more prepare person in life and not only in school. I met people that helped me and made my years the best, it also introduce me to a little bit of college life by allowing me and giving me the opportunity of take college coruses while doing dual enrollment.
Progreso High School is the most prestigious school in my humble opinion. Reason being, the opportunities are vast, one could drown with all the help received at my beloved High school. For example, the Principle, Counselors, and Teachers will provide all the help they can give, to not let any student stay behind.
