Proctor is all around an average school district, there is nothing major that sticks out at proctor nor is there anything that makes it a terrible school either. Most of the teachers and faculty truly care about the students and their sucess in the academic careers. A couple major things that the school could work on are college readiness and diversity in the school. If the school offered more programs that helped students understand fields outside of their schooling and prepared them for such topics as financial stability and job readiness. The diversity topic is less easy because the population in the area is very similar without much in terms of diversity and different groups at the school. Overall proctor is a decent school with an all-around average experience for the normal high school student.
I love going to Proctor High School. The majority of people at Proctor support each other, whether it's academics, clubs, or sports! Proctor is a pretty small town, so everyone knows each other. The school is also pretty small, so its easy to get help from the staff when you need it. We have a ton of opportunities at PHS, including College in the school classes, clubs, activities, and sports! We are a close knit community, where we all support and encourage each other to do the best of our abilities.
I loved the educators at Proctor. They dedicated their time to each student and grew relationships with everyone. The teacher's that Proctor employed cared about the student's success, happiness, and personal values. My time at Proctor was enjoyable and I felt like I had been sufficiently prepared for the obstacles I was faced with once my high school career had ended. The district treated me with respect to make my own decisions and follow my individual and personal passions. I am proud to have graduated from Proctor. Proctor was the only school district I had attended through my primary years, and I feel I am an educated, responsible, and contributing member to my community and society.
