I have two students here at POP. We transferred from another prominent private Christian school a few years go. My only regret is that we didn't transfer sooner. There is a strong sense of community and school spirit here with the students and with the parents. My teens have made lots of friends in all various grades and it seems there are way less cliques that our previous school. I believe my kids are getting a very good education, the teachers are VERY willing to work with my kids both before and after class and the high school administration and guidance is top- notch. We are VERY happy here!
My sons graduated from Prince of Peace Christian, and I give credit to the school for preparing them academically for college and for spiritually influencing their lives. The school embraces a diverse environment, and I was pleased to know that POPCS welcomes students from other faiths, making it an inclusive school. It is truly a Christian school where kids are loved, challenged, and encouraged daily. I feel the school is more reflective of what our world looks like and how we must reflect God's love in our daily lives. My boys had the opportunity to participate in so many activities. I am grateful for the love and guidance POPCS gave to my sons.
We started evaluating schools with ELC programs before our daughter was born and after our visit POPCS we stopped the search. We live in Dallas proper but work in Addison so we put this on the list since it was close to our offices and are so glad we did. It's very difficult to drop off your 3-month old with strangers, but prior to the first day we had numerous conversations and in-person meetings with the teachers and felt as comfortable as you can be. Fast forward over 1 year later as we are going in to the toddler class, our daughter has flourished in a way we could not have done on our own. It's truly a village that raise our children to be the best they can be and we are so happy the teachers at POPCS ELC are part of our village. The love they give all of the babies is an extension of your family. Additionally, we speak both Spanish and English to our daughter at home and were very glad they were able to accommodate the same while she was at school.
