We’ve had a great experience at PCA with our 3 kids. In particular, our daughter is 13 and has mild cerebral palsy which has impacted her mobility. Her teachers let her out a few minutes early between class changes to avoid her getting trampled in the hallway and allowed a friend to accompany her when needed. This year a student noticed the big distance she was walking to and from the carpool line and came up with an idea for a special drop off point to shorten the distance for all students with a handicap. Administrators contacted me and had it implemented in no time. What a blessing! With the help of some awesome teachers, she overcame her fear of doing presentations in class. It takes her a little longer to process some concepts, and her teachers allowed her a little extra time for tests. We love PCA and have been so thankful for the positive and supportive environment.

I love the positive, Christian environment that PCA provides. You'll definitely be challenged in the college prep courses, and PCA has begun some non-college (skilled trades) tracks in the last few years. Most of the teachers are really kind and care about you as a person as well as a student. Some basic rules are overly restrictive, such as uniform clothing only being purchased from a single vendor. Also, the school uses only one vendor for class jewelry, letterman jackets, and caps and gowns, not giving students options to shop competitively. Overall, it's a great college preparatory school and worth the cost of attendance.
My Daughter Kendyl has been a student at PCA since K-3 and will graduate May 14, 2019. Kendyl came into PCA as a little girl with a big smile but will leave with a foundation that will make her successful during her next Journey. PCA has developed her into a well rounded Christian young lady. Kendyl has been involved in many activities such as Cheer, tennis, Presidential Leadership, School Ambassador, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, National Spanish Honor Society. PCA also offer her the opportunity to attend two mission trips. With these affordability’s I’m sure she will succeed in her next phase of life. If you are looking for a Christian environment with outstanding academic excellence than Prattville Christian Academy should be your choice. Best decision we ever made for our Kendyl Lauren😃
