Powdersville High School is truly one of a kind. A school that opened just a short 5 years ago. Powdersville High respects their students and gives them many opportunities to connect with the community while learning. Powdersville has some great teachers who truly care for their students wellbeing, and knowledge. All of the faculty and staff there strive to help their students achieve great things. Powdersville High offers many clubs and organization that allow the students to learn to work together, serve the community, and grow as a student. Some of these organizations include, Student council, National Honors Society, Beta Club, Rotary Club, and more! As a student there, I never felt unimportant or forgotten about. If I ever needed help with anything, someone was always willing to give me a hand.

Powdersville High School is a medium-sized school situated at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The school holds its students and its staff to very high standards. There are countless educators at the school who are tirelessly devoted to not only the teaching of the students attending Powdersville High, but the extra curricular pursuits of the students as well. With countless resources to better one's self in all facets of education, any student at Powdersville High has countless opportunities to excel. The only thing that could be done to improve the quality of the school would be to replace some of the less enthusiastic educators with more passionate teachers, and perhaps replace some of the rather complacent office staff and guidance counselors.
Powdersville High School is overall a great school and I'd recommend it to those who are trying to chose a high school to attend. Many students at the school are very invested in their education and the teachers respect and support their goals. Powdersville is continuing to expand the extracurricular activities that are available for students, but I still wish they had a wider variety of opportunities for students to be involved in the school.
