- ALEXANDRIA, VA
We believe in the preservation of childhood, the importance of imaginative play and time in nature, the integration of arts and academics, and the development of human beings who will make a difference in the world.
We strive to develop thoughtful, fulfilled individuals who have the capacity to think creatively, communicate effectively, and relate compassionately.
We believe in the Waldorf curriculum for educating the whole human being: head, heart and hands, nurturing well-rounded individuals who will be successful in school and beyond.
A Look at Main Lessons: A Unique Elementary Experience
Our elementary students aren't given textbooks, they create them! Waldorf curricula integrates intellectual, artistic, and practical instruction. At the core of elementary academics is Main Lesson which allows for concentrated focus in science, math, language arts, and social studies. Students create their own books and produce beautiful representations of all they learned throughout the year.
