My overall experience at Poston Butte High School has been great. I love coming to school and all of the after school events. My high school is very accepting of everyone and that's one of the many reasons why I love it. All kinds of kids participate in different extracurricular activities, including myself. There's also a wide variety of ways to get involved in the school. To add to that, Mr. Lopez is a very fun principal. For example, he went viral on Tik Tok last year for dancing on the stage at graduation. Additionally, I always feel like I have an adult to talk to, whether that be my coach or a couple of my teachers. I rated Poston a four out of five stars because there are some teachers and administrators who don't have the need to connect to their students as much as the others. Although, the teachers that genuinely do want to help their students be successful and the overall atmosphere at Poston Butte High School makes the four years worthwhile.
Poston Butte High School is an enigma at times, yet could also be satisfying in the end.
While the education they give you is enough, you will only experience this in higher levels of classes. In AP classes, the education provided is provided BY the experienced teachers teaching the classes. However, in General Education, you will not receive that same feeling. The teachers are far more careless than AP teachers.
In conclusion, if you want a good education at Poston butte, sign up for AP classes.
The staff does not treat students very well, however. A lot of time, the Counselors, Front office, nurses, and coaches abuse their powers as adults and consistently mistreat students, and more so mess their future college careers up. Be careful about that, you will need to do a lot of things yourself.

Poston Butte was the High School I attended for all four years, it offers many great programs to allow students to share interest and branch out. Poston Butte teachers and Staff are also really supportive, and are always willing to help when needed, from helping with academics to being supportive on students choices outside of learning. Poston is a great environment to grow, and help get the leaders of tomorrow on the right track for greatness.
