I have enjoyed my experience at Portland Christian with all of the wonderful teachers, fun activities, and the student body as a whole. I felt so welcomed here at this school when I transferred here. They made it so easy for me to work out a schedule that could work even when they didn't have my class or I had to pick up an extra class because there was a required Bible class. I was able to receive all the credits I needed and enjoyed my time there. I do wish there was a greater diversity. There was a 5% racial diversity in my grade but that really just meant there were two of us, including me who were of different race. It didn't really bother me but it would be a progressive change to see in the school's future.

Portland Christian School to me is more than a school, it’s a home. It is a smaller school, so the teachers are able to have one on one time with the students who need it. The teachers here truly care about their students and want to succeed. In addition, academics isn’t all they care about. They care about your spiritual well being and your faith as well. Portland Christian will always be in my heart.
I enjoyed the smallness of the school. I did not feel that every teacher was fully knowledgeable about their subject. I also felt that the staff and faculty were very close minded. The school lunch was very bland and the menu was limited. I did not feel ready to enter the real world right from high school because I felt like I was in a safe bubble and nothing was ever wrong or bad. They also did not have a wide variety of electives to choose from. Aside from some sports they did not offer any clubs or activities. Not every teacher has a classroom to teach in. Not every sport was taken seriously and some did not have a place to practice. I felt Like every admin had so much to do and could not focus on one thing. Grading scale was super tough and grades were not put in the computer and given back in a timely manner
