Portland Christian is a school where my child feels safe, and free to share opinions. My child is challenged academically and is known by staff by name rather than just a number. My child has access to sports, drama and a religious education that is modeled by teachers, administrators and office staff. There are plenty opportunities to be involved in volunteering activities and take an interest in your child’s life and education!

Our daughter transitioned into the dreaded middle school years this last year, but we were so pleased with her experience at Portland Christian. It was her best year yet for grades, the teachers were all available every afternoon for tutoring when she was struggling, she was able to get involved in sports, as well as leadership and drama programs, and she has grown in her understanding of the Bible and Christian faith. No place is perfect -- there were disputes among kids from time to time, and some teachers were easier to connect with than others, but overall, it was a year where our daughter grew and developed in the very best ways.
We have had all our kids go the PCS. They have been well prepared for college. Their faith has grown. They are learning with a Christian perspective throughout the curriculum. We know they are loved and cared for by their teachers and administrators. We are so thankful for PCS!
