Porter High School administration cares about the well-being of their students. The principal is very caring. Overall, I've had a positive experience at PHS. Being part of the band has been a life saver to me. The band directors are the best! I feel ready to move to the next level in my life because I have been giving a solid education foundation.
My experience from the time of 2022 of March I would say that my experience has been interesting. It’s been interesting because I met a lot of intricate people and new acquaintances. I have had a lot more opportunities in the school than in Arizona. I transferred to Porter High school because my family lived in Houston and I was designated for Porter high school. I was very welcomed and I was a little nervous at first, but the teachers were nice and I loved Having people to connect with, and learn with. When I came to Porter high school, I was very interested with all the opportunities that they had offered with scholarships and clubs. I was amazed of how the clubs were so United. The teachers are really easy to talk to you and the counselors are always free and very nice. I have learned a lot from the classes that I have taken. Overall, my experience was great and I would recommend going to put her high school for the academic opportunities.
This school is great, I love it, the staff are awesome so are most of the students. The best thing about Porter high school is the vibes that come from the students and their teachers. The teachers are always so nice and helpful with anyone that’s asks. I would say the worst part of Porter is the lack of attention to detail and communication between teachers I think they could really improve with more communication. Overall this school is diverse and has great opportunities and adjustments for those that need it.
