I am currently a Port Isabel high school student,in fact it's my last year and i can say that i am going to miss high school. My experience with PIHS is excellent the teachers are really exceptional and so caring toward us. PIHS has excellent college readiness the counselors really care and give you certain attention over what type of Career or occupation you want and help you out with College applications and other stuff. For example i want to study and go to the medical field so the counselors have talked with me and placed me in dual or college classes that can help me in the future to prepare for college. They prepare students for their future career and encourage us to go to a college or university.PIHS has distant diversity students and we all support opinions, beliefs and culture.Over all my 4 year experience with Port Isabel High School is great and i wouldn't change a thing and really enjoyed spending my high school experience here.
Everything about my school was awesome!! There weren't any problems I had with this school, during my 4 years. The only thing i would actually change would be the way the treat the Athletic and Band Deparement, they shouldve been treated equally together.
