Pope John Paul II is a college prep high school located in Sumner County, Tennessee. With an school enrollment of approximately 550 students, it is large enough to give us a medium-size campus feel while allowing us to not get lost in too large a campus environment. The principal has hand-picked his administration and teachers and they give the students their all. The athletic department is led by a very competent and hands-on athletic director.
Overall, my experience at JPII has been a great one. There has been very little drama and we have a good safety officer on site. I would recommend Pope John Paul II to anyone looking for a high school that is smaller in size but large in delivery.

Both my son and daughter attended JP2 and both played sports. It is a very academic school with high standards that I believe help prepare for college. Their sports team were competitive with a true team environment and great teamwork. Both my children received almost full rides to respected colleges for their sports and academics, and I know they would not have accomplished this if they attended public school!
Wonderful community of students, faculty & parents! As a parent I've seen my children grow academically & spiritually as a result of their highschool experience at JP2. They have every opportunity to be involved & to learn under teachers that truly care for them as an individual.
