Great stellar education! Would definitely enroll your kid in one of the four career academies at this school. Amazing sports team reaching to states finals each year! Teachers... there are the good and there are the bad. Admin needs to replace several of the poor teachers but majority are great. Pretty much no diversity as it seems that 98% of the school is white. Over 100+ Club opportunities for you to get involved. Counselors aren't the best as they overrule any course request they think you "cant handle". Overall 3/5 star rating. Best high school for sure in the area. I would recommend your child here if they are willing to self teach themselves most of the time and truly commit to your own personal goals because you are the only one that really wants you to reach them.

I truly enjoyed my experience at PVHS! I am sure that having attended PVHS definitely increased my standing when it came to college admissions! I continue to return as an alumnus as a volunteer. The campus is beautiful and the staff and faculty are great! PVHS offers a very large selection of AP courses and target driven curriculum. Outside of academics, PVHS offers a multitude of extracurricular options for students varying from sports to theater.
I'm a freshman at PVHS. Overall, the academics are great, however, your grade in the class completely depends on what teacher you get. The school is also too sports-oriented; the arts are underfunded and undervalued. Despite this, PV is clean, with small classrooms of around 20 kids. There are large issues when it comes to the school's social life. There is absolutely no diversity. Just about every student is white with a privileged background that causes them to be arrogant and insensitive to those not as fortunate as themselves. All of them went to the same middle school, where they formed tightly-knit cliques held together today by a new, shared fondness of nicotine and alcohol. If you moved to PV over the summer, or didn't go to this middle school, you're essentially an outsider, for it's nearly impossible to break into these cliques. Ponte Vedra High School is genuinely a very good school academically, and there are some decent students. Good luck.
