Plymouth State University is a really awesome college located in the beautiful state of New Hampshire. Through their willingness and flexibility to provide students with the best experience possible, I am part of a cohort of students who will be earning our Bachelors degrees in just three years! It is so exciting and I think it would be amazing for all majors to be provided with these types of opportunities. I did my first full two years at my local community college and am now transferred over to Plymouth to finish my last (two years) worth of college by being enrolled full-time from this summer until next spring. So, rather than the normal 2 more years to earn and receive my bachelors degree, if all goes accordingly, I will be able to graduate with my bachelors in just a little over a year! Plymouth has worked really hard alongside my local community college to make this amazing experience possible and I couldn't be more lucky! I would absolutely recommend Plymouth State to anyone!

As a Freshman at Plymouth State University, coming in I was very concerned about making friends, getting involved, and adjusting. PSU's staff and upperclassmen have made the transition so smooth and easy for me. I've found friends through clubs and organizations as well as my classes. I've seen and been involved in how much pride the PSU Panthers really have, I love my school and that I chose to go here. The only complaint I can even think of is the dining halls food selection, I wish there was more of a variety of food to choose from, but the food itself has never really disappointed me. Becoming a PSU Panther is something everyone should look into!
I originally chose to attend Plymouth State because I thought it was a very pretty campus, the school offers a lot of incentives when it comes to laundry, their flex cash, tech support, printing, because it is a smaller school, etc.. However, the town gets boring after a while, and unless you have a car there’s only so much you can do especially in the winter. There isn’t many sunny days during the winter and early spring. The culture and environment is very chill and lax but the school isn’t very diverse and I’ve never heard so many racist and sexist remarks/ treatment made towards teachers and about girls and minorities by my own age group before. The academics are great and I’ve loved most of my teachers if not all! There are so many electives to choose from where any student can find a class they enjoy!
