From Plymouth Meeting Friends School

In a Big World, Plymouth Meeting Friends School is an intimate community that focuses on the uniqueness of each child and holds central the precious and joyful time of childhood. Our Quaker values, small class sizes, and nurturing teachers allow your child to gain confidence as they learn to think deeply and creatively, ask critical questions, and recognize that they have a place and voice within the greater, even global, community. Our commitment to social justice, identity, and belonging runs through every facet of our work with children.

Founded in 1780, our school for children ages 3 years-6th grade is nestled on a beautiful 11-acre, tree-filled campus. Perhaps most unique among the central experiences that define a Plymouth education is our program of overnight trips for 1st-6th graders; from a night of cabin-camping just an hour away from campus for 1st graders, to two weeks in Cuernavaca, Mexico for 5th graders as part of our Mexican Exchange Program, now in its 51st year.
